This symposium is the first cooperation of the German Association for Asian Studies (DGA) and the Japanese Association for Asian Studies (JAAS), in cooperation with the Japanese-German Center Berlin and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Preeminent scholars from Japan and Germany will discuss how to face a rising China.
Topics are:
- China’s domestic challenges
- China and the East Asia economies
- China’s foreign policy in Asia
