German-Japanese Young Leaders Forum （日独ヤングリーダーズフォーラム）
The German-Japanese Young Leaders Forum was established in 2006 in cooperation with the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The program is organized by the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB) and funded by B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. in 2017.
The program comprises a ten day summer school on a socio-political topic relevant to both countries, including visits of institutions and companies as well as a cultural program. It takes place annually, alternating between Germany and Japan, and is held in English.
The Young Leaders Forum addresses 16 young high potentials, eight German and eight Japanese nationals. They should be active in the fields of politics, economics, media or administration in private companies or public institutions. Participants are required to speak English fluently and should be between 25 and 35 years old.
