Symposium: Quo Vadis Design. Dieter RAMS and the German Design – Dieter RAMS talks with Japanese Designers and Students
Dieter RAMS is one of the most famous German (industrial) designers. For example, he designed the products for the electrical company Braun. His philosophy of "less but better" became style-defining.
Together with the Quo Vadis Design DDI-Committee and Kyoto University of Art and Design the Japanese-German Center Berlin has invited Dieter Rams to a symposium on design in Kyoto. Renowned Japanese designers (Masayuki Kurokawa, Naoto Fukasawa, Yutaka Hasegawa) and Prof. Fritz Frenkler (f/p design/TU Munich) have also agreed to participate.
