For the next generation of energy management, which will stop climate change and protect the environment, the success or failure of the introduction of a large scale renewable energy plays a major role. While Japan and Germany’s energy policies differ in how they deal with nuclear energy, both are aiming for effective implementation and use of renewable energy while reducing power consumption.
The key to promoting a smart community is an effective and stable relationship between the supply and demand of energy distribution. This planned conference will focus on the challenges of installation/maintenance of the power grid as well as the development of storage technologies in Japan and Germany. The discussions will not be limited to technical and technological aspects but shall also address political, economic and social aspects.
